Auto-Recommend Ministries
OnArk has the ability to automatically recommend Ministries to your guests, based on their results from taking any of the built-in tests.
This is a great tool for churches that have an onboarding process, as It provides great insight for each volunteer to help them find the ministries that best suit their God-given gifts and personalities.
To set this up, you will need 3 things: Ministries, a Test Section, and the Ministries Input.
Ministries
The first thing you'll need is all of your Ministries added into OnArk. This can be accomplished in 3 places:
Inside the Ministries Page, located in main sidebar navigation. This place allows you to see all of your Ministries in one place, as well as edit each Ministry’s title, description, and test result associations.
Inside a Test Section, once a test is selected. Here you can only add Ministries, but you can also see all the possible test results for the test you selected, as well as associate these results to Ministries.
Inside the Ministries Input. Here you can only add Ministries, and choose which ones will be useable inside the input.
Ministries are synced together throughout the entire app. So any edits or changes made in one area will apply to that Ministry everywhere.
Test Section
Once your Ministries are added, you will need to create or use one or more existing Test Sections inside of your class.
Inside each Test Section, select the test that you would like to use.
Once selected, you will then see a list of all the possible results for that test, along with a list of your Ministries under each result.
Simply check the boxes next to each Ministry that you want to associate with each result.
Ministries Input
With the Test Section(s) configured, you now just need to add and configure the Ministries Input.
Add a Form Section anywhere after your Test Section(s), then simply add the Ministries Input anywhere inside.
Once added, you can configure the input with the following options:
Show or Hide the Recommended Ministries
Show or Hide the Ministry Descriptions
Show or Hide Individual Ministries From Appearing In This Input
Guests
Now that you have all the pieces together, your guests will now get to have a well-guided experience through your class. They will complete the tests, get their results, and then see their recommendations upon reaching the Ministries Input!
